AC Sight Glass on 2008 Prerunner V6 ??

I was searching and couldnt find any thread on sight glass on AC system on our generation.

Do 2008 Prerunner V6s have a sight glass anywhere ??

No there is no sight glass, those pretty much went away with R12.

All current refrigerants are charged by weight not by clearing the sight glass.

You can use high and low side pressures to get "close" providing the system is functioning correctly but the best way is by weight.

 

About $3.50-$4.00 an Oz. (for now)

Time to get a license to handle Freon, Neon, and kreon. They cant make me put R4400 in my system if it only takes R134A. Oh do i miss R-12 had a nice ring to it.
