AC working intermittently

    My AC is only working when it wants too. When i first start it up and drive it wont start working until i drive it for a little bit and sometimes it just plain up doesn't work at all. Suggestions?

    If you haven't already checked, unhook the glove box door and remove the cabin air filter. Make sure it isn't clogged and while you're at it, reach in and check for any leaves or anything else that might be blocking the fan.

    Is it only working at the third or forth speed setting or does it sometimes work for all speeds, not just the higher speeds?

    Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
    You need to define intermittent operation. These fans/resistors/resistor connectors are prone to failure. If its fan related, it's probably one of these 3, if it's not the fan, you're probably low on gas.

    Be advised that if you compressor is running properly and your fan shuts off, you will freeze you're evaporator coil in the dash and you will have zero airflow until it thaws.
