Supercharger coolant hoses were delivered today, hopefully this weekend I can start it back up, barring any other delays.

So, I know it's been a while since the last post, but the coils are working great. I haven't noticed any difference from stock denso, I don't really remember what stock felt like, but they work!

Does the Tacoma OEM coil show weakness in boosted applications? Toyota race cars (like the TS040) utilize Denso coils. :notsure:

Sweet, I haven't got mine yet but their on the list....
In all my hot rods hotter spark made it run better, usually MSD with a single coil..... But I'm sure they help..... one of those little things...

No question it helps give you a more complete burn.
When checking magnetos on a reciprocating aircraft engine, (they have 2 magnetos per engine, and 2 plugs per cylinder for redundancy) you turn off one magneto and just run on one, there's a slight rpm drop.

Truck took awhile starting a few days ago and intermittently happened on cold starts. It happened again today and it Pulled code p0356 which is coil # 6.

just ordered mine from summit. Was gonna get it from Amazon with prime (49.99 each) but saw that summit carried it in a 6 pack (259.97). Free shipping in continental us but I paid $20 extra since I'm in hawaii. Good deal.

These work very well. No trouble starting up.

It fires up a lot faster than my oems which is what I noticed. Other than that the very minimal differences but I can tell its performance is better than stock since the claim 15% more spark. But over the weeks it sounds like my exhaust got louder. Idk could be in my head. When u do decide to install these you might as well change your plugs at the same time.

Hotter spark is one of those small things that add up.....

Sweet, they are still on my list.....

Always upgrade your parts when doing any maintenance.....

    improved toyota goodness.
interesting you mention the exhaust noise...i just replaced the plugs and wires on my 01 and i thought my exaust sounded louder and maybe smoother ... the previous plugs were only 0.052-0.056 vs 0.042 new but the wires were toast (5 yrs old) so could be all in my head too...

Can you explain your datalog spreadsheet in relation to the Accel Ignition Coils? I'm curious if you found that the coils improved things, made things worse, etc....?
