Hey Guys! I have a 2006 4x4. I've got a shudder when accelerating around 30-40mph, feels like speed strips on the side of interstate. It doesn't happen every time. I've had my u-joints checked and also just had my rear-end fluid exchanged. I'm not sure where to go from here. Anyone have any suggestions? Torque converter maybe? Any help is much appreciated!

Is the shutter, front, back or to one side? Have you checked the lugs and the leaf u bolts?

^X2 & your carrier bearing. "Gazillion" posts/threads with the same problem.

I also would guess your carrier bearing. Mine had similar symptoms when it went out at somewhere in the neighborhood of 120xxx.
