The '05-'08 had the best access cab seats. The access cabs backseat is pretty much useless for human occupants, so the design in the 09+ is silly to me. I keep my backseats folded flat, gives me a huge area for my stuff, tools, and dog, and I can fold the seats up if I have to let someone ride back there.

Childseat fits back there pretty easy too.

I would think the 09+ seats would be better for a child car seat, but I bought a access cab for the extra room, not seating. I wish I had the previous 05-08 set up, love how it folded to a flat surface.

There is a guide around here to switch out the 09+ seats for the 05-08 seats.

I took the headrests out of my 2011. my backseat is for my golf clubs and that's about it.

Flat backs for car seats. So so easy. Far more utilitarian.
