I think it means the account is no longer active, which sucks because he had some good posts and ideas.

What do they say, duplication is the most sincere form of flattery???

This shelf is a great idea and BSP4X4 and Wyotaco gave me inspiration to actually do it.

This is a great idea for both a dog and just plain ole storage. Can your dog leap up to the platform or are drop-down steps the next mod? :)

He's an old, but very cool Jack Russell. Past the jumping age. I have to lift him in the truck.

I even had to make e a bed room "mod" for him. (don't get excited this is not going where you proabably hope) I made a 3 step staircase out of foam blocks so that he can get in bed. Sucks that he's getting old. Hell, sucks that I'm getting old. :)

Very clever. Someone should consider a patent and get to work on a creating such a product but with adjustable legs for different heights and so on. Maybe even add a removable cover incase the dog pees. IDK.

Do you have to haul your dog up into it or can they get in by themselves?

Our first greyhound jumps up no problem, but now we have a second and even if it is just him in there, I have to lift him up as he just does not really like to jump like the female does. Unfortunately now with two greyhounds there is not enough room back there and I had to put a cap on the back to keep them happy. But I still use the platform as it is handy for putting groceries and tools and things in the back of the cab like others have said.

I just use a Husky Liner like the one in this pic (mine is black). The dog can get in there muddy after a hunt and I just take it out and rinse it off. Not sure how this works ont he new ones with the different configuration of the rear seats but it works great on my '06.

I like this look but the "seat bottoms" fold up on my '10.

My mod is similiar to the OP's:

Whoa, old thread revival. I did this for awhile, then built a dog box once I couldn't stand the hair. My dog gets to ride in the bed now, she doesn't care.
