I couldn’t find a thread dedicated to access cabs. Please post pics of your taco access cab. I’m trying to plan out my mod list and I’d like to see some pics of your taco so, I can get a better idea of what would look good..

Many of us have roof racks. We just have to use Yakima and Thule mostly, which can easily be removed when not in use. There aren't any factory rack holes in the roof of an AC. Link to my build page in my sig at the bottom.

Sweet, I like the Blacked out rims. What size tires do you have and how much of a lift if you need to fit them.

2014 TRD Off-Road, six speed manual, mostly stock, 2 1/2" lift.
It's the exact truck I was looking for. I bought it two years ago with just under 12,000 miles on it.
I didn't want the full quad cab, just enough room for some guns or groceries!

Not sure who this is directed to, but ill chime in. The first thing i did on my access cab was add an ARB bumper, and a leer camper shell i picked up off craigslist.. from there it pretty much spiraled out of control lol..

On my dcsb, its pretty much all stock except i added a softopper and built a fridge box, platform for the back for when i go on trips.

I have Thule cross bars that came on my shell, and theyve been great. When i decide to buy some for the cab, i will probably go with the same company just so they match. But im sure Yakima is just as nice, i just cant speak from experience with those

Did you buy your truck with the black front bumper or swap out the silver one so it would match the rear one? Looks great, i cant say ive ever seen anyone do this but i dig the black accents!:fistbump:

I'm pretty much stuck with the grill for a while cuz thats how it was when I got it but the surround was all dinged up from rocks and stuff so I wanted to black it out to kinda fix the dings and also I thought it would offset the chrome and make it look better so I went ahead and blacked out the front bumper while I was at it to match the rear... I'm hoping to get all of that modded out eventually but this will do till I can come up with the scratch it will take to finish it off.

There's a mod to install the oem DC roof rails on an access cab but the kicker is you have to decide whether to leave the bars across the cab, cut them to fit lengthwise, or buy two kits to have a set of each. They look nice either way but the install requires pulling the headliner and drilling through the roof. That seems a lot of effort for something only rated for 100lbs. Were I into wheeling I'd be more likely to adapt a prinsu rack instead.
