I had the dealer take my head rests out before I gave him the check. He told me it was now illegal for anyone to ride in the Munchkin seats. Won't be anyone back there anyhow.. Think they wanted me to leave them in for safety reasons.

Not really a regret but loading and groceries or store bought stuff in the back seat sucks. cant pull the carriage up between the doors if anyone is parked beside you. Cant wait to install my bed extender so I can have it as a catch in the bed for all that stuff. Use to put my load bar through all the bag handles but didnt work too well with gallons of milk or cases of beer, those had to go in the back seat.

I have a great idea. I would redesign the small doors to slide open like a mini-Van passenger door and install external door handles for booth doors.

I would go with Sport for now to keep up demand for manuals so Toyota can keep making them.

But you can close them slightly, huddle behind them, and have yourself a nice quiet place to pee.

Everyone always says the rear seats are useless you are better off with a dbl cab. My last truck was a dbl cab and I used the seats 2 times. Access cab works best for me. I am a driver not a taxi. Now since I got the Toyota my wife rides with me a LOT more but I really don't see the back seat getting used much except for my daughter as she gets older.

I park across the lot from the front door at Walmart so no one parks next to me.

I don't regret the access cab at all. It still has back seats if needed and a long bed. Which is more useful. My last truck was a double F-150 and 99% I drove around by myself.
I also prefer the look over the double cab.

I just don't really like the look of the 4 door. And I wanted a manual access cab so I went for the sport!

I would if the Sport's had a locker. My 2010 has 63k miles and is paid off, I'll wait till they offer exactly what I want :)

Sport has 4x4 and Limited Slip Differential. Not sure about Toyota offering the OR AC Manual here in the US. Toyota probably thinks the Sport AC and OR DCSB cover all the manual V6 options for us which is stupid.

They don't offer an OR AC Manual or I'd have bought one last fall. I believe Canada has this option. I was unpleasantly surprised when I found this out through the forum and dealership.

Edit: In a longbed figuration that is.

So beside no requirement for TPMS, what else is different between US Tacoma and Canada Tacoma? Makes no sense to produce a vehicle and only allow it to be sold in Canada- really senseless unless they are more "unique" for other reasons.

Good question. I guess to just frustrate everyone who wants a specific configuration. They're built on the same assembly lines, so go figure. I really would like mine to have been manual, but no such luck.
