Access Cab missing rear window juice, verify

Folks with access cab, have you checked if OEM harness terminates at connector IL3 slot 8 for rear window motor power? Connector has 2 sides, side facing firewall is source, side facing cab is towards "rear window".



The left side rear window should have no wire at all.(1H slot 16)


On the 2nd Gen the window circuit maintains power for a 43 seconds after IGN OFF. Window can be closed if need be. Don't know if 3rd Gen is same.

 

I am not sure why the 'rear' window is being mentioned? The AC door windows do not operate and the slider is full manual.

That said, the front windows can be used after the key is turned off for 30sec unless one of the doors is opened. I cannot remember if this interval can be changed in the head unit or TechStream. It might be dependent on one of the interior or headlight stay-on settings?

 

A lot of wiring for the different models is in place. A test light or multimeter will help.
When I did the DC power slider window install in my AC, the plug for the DC switch was hanging behind the left cubby along with the plug for the bed light. The connectors for the bed light relay were in the relay module but ones for the two window relays were not.

But, you are on TW, where folk drain their engine oil out of the transmission.

Just saying.

 

Show us your vehicle's IL3 on both sides, for reference. Takes 5 minutes to undue the scuff plate and the kick plate.
