Access Cab owners, ever regret not getting a DC?

    No regrets at all.
Dog platform is great for groceries and works well for keeping items out of sight when stored below.
Like the looks of an a/c too.

No. I like the look, style and function over the DC.

There is a post that shows a 35 minute clip of Tacoma versus Ridgeline. The reviewer is a small guy...5'5" or so. His knees were touching the front seat when he sat in the back.

If you have children I could see a justification to get the DC perhaps.

I have an AC now. My next one will be a DC.

On a related note, you should turn this into a poll.

I love my DC but wish it was a regular cab. I'm always trying to weasel my way out of giving rides. If the regular cab had a V6 it would be no question.

09 access cab, wish I had a double. I'm single but often have three adults and the jump seats aren't that good for more than ten minutes.
The rear seat delete would be preferable to the jump seats, and the storage boxes under the seats with the center console take away floor space I would love to have. I could live with the jumps if I had the lost floor space.

I actually would have preferred the access cab, but SWMBO was with me when we bought my '09 and she fell in love with the DC--I was not going to argue with her and now that I've got it I like it. A real back seat and it is very easy to load stuff in there...

Mine is basically just so I don't have to drive a 4-dr sedan; or worse yet an SUV or "crossover" (just as soon be dead as seen in the latter)...

I have a car seat in my AC, fits great. What is the leg room difference between the AC and the DC....4 inches?

Never. Even now when I see a DC i think its just not nearly as good looking as an AC. I love my AC.

I'd mentioned earlier that I prefer the looks of an AC. About the only way I'd get a DCSB is if I had a matching shell. To me the double cab just looks funny, kind of out of proportion, but when you put a shell on it, it really changes the looks. Course then you lose the utility of the pickup bed.

Love my AC. I use the longer bed way more than the back seats. When I'm with 3 or more people they drive and when it's just 2 I drive. I think the DCSB has a worthless bed, might as well have a T4R.

The 2nd gen DCLB looks awkward. I do like how the 3rd gen DCLB looks.

The same shit everyone else has.
Not really. Maybe if they made a TRD OR in a 4 door with a real bed Id think about it but probably not.

I like having an access cab. Rear seats are LONG gone and replaced with a platform. The truck has room for me and my old lady and gear in the back seat. Or me and my fishing buddy and gear. Its nice not having to haul people around. My old lady has a JKU that gets used if we need to
    play taxi.
