My daughter is 14 and has plenty of room riding in the access cab. More room than the first generations.

My two 5 1/2 year old boys fit in the rear of the 2009 just fine.

The rear seats are usable, maybe not comfortable, but usable. I sat in them for a while to decide between AC and DC. The seats are better than they were in the `08's, and they'll fit an adult no problem, just don't keep them in there too long unless you hate them:p

Sweet, if you don't like the rear seat headrests they can be removed without to much trouble. The headrests do obstruct the view to the rear and sometimes the back up camera just doesn't cut it. Enjoy your new ride.

I wish my 08 had headrests. If someone rear ends me and my daughter is back there, her head is gonna slam into the rear glass. Needless to say, she doesn't ride back there much.

First mod-license plate frame reads... "Driver carries no cash-wife shows dogs"
It is a short term solution for the kids. A couple of years from now you will be wishing for the 4 door. They will fit now but in a couple of years you will be getting the groan noise from them real quick. World famous quotes will be things like "Are we there yet?" as soon as you clear the driveway.

On an added note those seats would be quick to damage a persons reproductive capabilities real quick.

I got my '08 access cab for the dogs - keep the seat folded down and their beds in there...

On the occasions I put a person back there, it's only for SHORT trips. I have been back there on occasion and would not be there for long.

My last truck was purchased when my boys were 9 & 10... they outgrew it pretty fast.
