Plexiglass...that is a shit replacement in my opinion. I doubt it would pass states visual inspection. In drag racing we can use lexan it won't shatter like plexi plus it is a fairly controlled environment, unlike on the streets.

Yeah if these were glass it'd be one thing, but plexiglass isn't something I'm looking to put on my truck. I posted earlier before checking out their website.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
No thanks, real glass is the only way to go. But, nobody ever sits in the back of my AC and it is too full of crap for someone to sit back there now anyway, besides, they have the sliding rear window to knock themselves out with if someone does have to sit back there.

As it stands now, my dog has to stick his head between my headrest and the door pillar to get a snootful of fresh air. The result of this is that I get a faceful of slobber and dogsnot all the time from the wind. If he's on the passenger side then I get the whole right side of my body doused. So yeah, I'd likely buy these in a heartbeat if they were made with glass. I still can't believe Toyota sealed these things.

I heard back from the company. Here is the important part of the conversation: "...still working on the Tacoma windows and the goal is to have them by the first of the year. It has been going slower that I had hoped. "

Will keep you all updated as I hear from them.

That is my biggest complaint with my 2011 the damn windows are just as big as the 97 I had but when they put all that plastic in they became as big as postage stamp with no way to open them like the older ones. That's progress?

Had a couple of 2 door coupes with rear vent windows, plus a Mazda p/u extended cab with them and really liked them - good in mild weather with good airflow with driver/passenger windows either closed or open an inch or so.
Also nice in good weather when parked - kept interior from heating up as much.

For the Access door, I think Plexiglass is fine. I'd be interested for sure.
