    You call those seats? lol!

I buried a BOSS sub on the floor of the back 'seating' area. I use the back for crap, not peeps - too inhumane.

BTW - there's a thread I started on the BOSS where a couple guys took out the passenger seat and made the BOSS sub fit there. Might be worth a gander if you're hot on seating back there. :)

I saw your BOSS thread and I like what they've done burying it under the seat, but from what people have said it's gonna sound worse than my bazooka..

I had a bazooka in my old exploder. Never ran it next to a Boss, but I'd be willing to bet it wouldn't be a night and day difference. Plus, add that you're looking to bury the sub, that certainly will be the real differentiator.

    True.

About that mount, I can't figure out where it goes? Between the center console and back seat I guess?

There's a guy on this forum that makes those boxes himself for close to 250$ a pop, and the largest sub you can put in it is 10. Not worth the money in my opinion. Look at the vendors for SubXclosures

Oh ok.. I found a small box from Supercrewsound that's 120 after getting tan carpeting.. but it can only fit an 8... but I found a Rockford Fosgate 8" Punch sub for a good deal.

I'm running an Alpine CDA-9886 Head unit with iPod controls, USB, and also bluetooth and XM capability if I want it in the future. All my speakers are Alpines... S-type 6x9's front, and S-Type 6.5's rear along with a 10" Type-R sub in a box I custom built for my truck.

This is my first try at building a sub box. I had a 8" bazooka tube in the back floor and got tired of it being there and no one could really sit there. So i took it apart, removed the speaker and the little amp control unit.

I used 3/4" MDF, fabric from JoAnn fabrics the color doesn't really match but i don't really care i just didn't want the typical black/grey. The sub is mounted underneath just above the drive shaft tunnel, and the control unit i put in the cubbys in the back, which i still have access to. Its a sealed box, wondering if porting it would help with the sound??

Installed a kenwood head unit in the other day, just got some new eclipse speakers for the front/rear and an ipod adapter, and some fat mat to deaden. Hopefully soon it will fuggin warm up so i can put it in!
