Does anyone know how to get to the blank switches next to the a-real button on a 2012 trd access cab? I'm installing some lightforce 170's and a grillcraft grill this weekend and was hoping someone had some info or direction on getting my wire to the switching. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

if your talking about the bank of blanks, at the top row to the left of the drivers side... remove the lower dash trim and reach up there blindly and feel around for the blanks. push their tabs in to pop them out. its a real *****. the plastic 'shield' that protrudes forward under these makes its a really tight space.

I think Op is talking about the blanks in the center console not next to the diff button. An OR doesn't have any blanks on the left.

i removed the center console around shifter and that gave me the best access to the blanks.

theres one screw inside storage, under the little rubber mat. Unscrew the shifter knob, pry off the cup holder and theres two more screws under there. then jimmy the console around the get it off...youll need to shift into 2nd or so to give the room youll need to get it up and out.

My OR is full and I have a 6 speed. I believe where the autos DAC button is, my clutch cancel button is.

Not exactly what you are looking for, but I didn't want to deal with taking the dash apart to add a switch for my lights. I popped off the filler panel to the right of the AC vent on the dash and used it for my light switch. No need to take anything apart and I ordered a replacement panel from Toyota and put it away in case I ever decide to relocate switch or go back to stock.
