have a 2014 accesscab with entune plus radio. is there a diffence between a entune plus in a double cab and a accesscab since the accesscab has the speakers in the headliner. had a 2013 did the same thing to it , put speakers in the rear doors and all it did was move the tweeters from the headliner to the rear doors, [ there was no bass coming out of them ].

I have the same thing, want to add speakers to the rear doors.
I hate those POS speakers in the headliner.
I'm not sure when I will do this or how, still exploring my options.

    How did you wire them?

my 2013 accesscab a got a reverse wiring kit from spiral audio, unplugged the headliner speakers from the radio, then ran from the new plug, wire to the rear doors. rear doors are already stamped for the speakers, just have to cut out holes in the door panels. made my own adaptors to mount speakers in doors. but radio in that truck was not a entune plus. in that truck with stock radio any sound going to rear speakers was ownly highs no bass at all.

This was also my thinking, just unplug headliner speaker from back of unit.
Buy a new plug and wiring and run to new speakers in rear doors.
Not sure why you would only get the base.
