Welcome brother. My suggestion, leave the suspension as God and Toyota made it. Lifts can be a real PIA.

Depends on how much you willing to spend and what you’re gonna be doing with the truck. That truck looks like it’s running 35s as they look bigger than the 33s on mine. If you want the least hassle run 285/70r17 tires and wheels with -12 offset. That’s what I’m running on mine without any rubbing issues with 3 inch lift . As for the lift it all boils down to what you’re gonna do. You offroad heavy or just want the look? If you want the look and don’t care to offroad contrary to what a lot of people say you can go with a spacer lift ( people will say not to as it’s garbage and what not) in reality I tan spacer on my old 19 trd or taco and had zero issues yeah the ride isn’t the greatest but it looked good. If you plan on doing a bit of off-roading and want the peace of mind that your suspension won’t crap out on you then bilstein 5100 is the cheapest way to go. Anything else is for suspension will be decided on how much off-roading you do man.

    1) Take your time. Not everything needs to be bought today.

    2) Read. Read, read, and read some more. Spend some time on the suspension forums. Figure out what suspension matches your driving habits. Do not buy before you become proficient in all things suspension.

I own a 2018. I did not put on a suspension until 2022. If I did it again, I would not change a thing.

Read. See what others are doing. Stumble across the occasional mod that makes you say "thats damn stupid... ... how do I make one for myself?" Get angry that their idea is about to cost you money. Make a truck that truly fits you like a well worn boot, NOT a cookie-cutter truck that might earn you a like on instagram.

Youll enjoy it more. Trust me.

Dude all the info is here at TC you just got to read. There are years and years of experience here. Use the search bar, it is your friend! I know you just want a simple answer, but the answer is that there is no simple answer. You just need to read and research and figure out what is right for you. Otherwise you are going to have to provide a lot more criteria like budget, are you willing to hack your new truck, what are your plans for it? Look cool? Rock crawl? So many questions...

The older I get the more I realize less is more.
Drive it stock for a year and then think real hard about making major changes.

    Itz JDM tyte, yo!
I can relate to all of those points. Back in my sports car days, I tried as quickly as possible to lower the car and put nice wheels on it.

After spending 5 years driving the car like that on street and the race track, I realized I should have gone a different route that better suits what I wanted from that car. I changed out my whole suspension and wheel/tire setup.

This concept can also be applied to off-road trucks, drift cars, etc.
