Filler up with Sunoco 260 GT+. You will need traction control on at all times with this much imaginary power!

Bob, back in the day.....!! Esso was running a promotion...."PUT A TIGER IN YOUR TANK", referring to their brand of gasoline..... When the promotion first kicked off, they would hang a 6" tiger tail from your gas cap when you filled up there....

It was kinda funny driving around and seeing all of these tiger tails hanging out there.....people asked what that was for..Kids said.."Dad get one of those"... they got a lot of press for that simple idea........!!

It was "marketing", before cell phones and when gas was $0.39/Gal. CDN...... (early 60's).

Walmart Jumper Cables are an excellent purchase for survival gear.

image.jpg Walmart Super Tech Oil - Very exotic, not sure where to buy it. :). Mobile 1 does not even compare to this non synthetic gritty goo.

It has a suspension of ground up dinosaur bone grit particilies that scrub clean your engines cyilinder walls with a honing action.

MAN, that takes me back! My Father worked for Sunoco for 45 years.
Back in the day, when I got my first car, a 1970 VW Beetle, I couldn't put $5 worth of 190 in the car, since it wouldn't hold that much! It was about $.23 a gallon in Clearwater, Florida where I lived at the time!
And yes, I remember the Esso/Enco/Exxon Tiger Tails as well!
Thanks for the blast from the past!

Love the passenger eject. I've been looking for a cigarette adapter plug in with a blue illuminated skull. I had one for years. My three year old grandson believed my modified Nissan S-ER 2.0 was an actual race car after I did a huge hole shot with a long two front wheel burnout followed by a few power shifts up the gears with grandma and himself in it. But he liked and was also frightened of monsters so I got the lit skull accessory. He called it our monster race car and he and me and the car became a big hit when he entered pre-k. Love the grandchildren. Should have had them first!!! Dannyblues

Wasn't that only about 12 years ago??? My God how time flies!! Yes I remember it well. But my dad known locally as "$2 Bill " never got that tail and never filled up. I remember when gas was barely 25 cents a gallon and even less during the gas price wars. Dannyblues

And great for your battery and sensitive electronics. Light up and fry a squirrel and your ECU and ignition system at the same time. Dannyblues. But it does work. Just disconnect your battery with the survival tool roll away carts in your emergency pack. Dannyblues

Don't forget the hanging dice from the oversized rear view mirror. Monkey fur dash cover. Clear plastic seat covers. The toy dog or hula girl with moving head on the rear deck. Reflectors on license plate screws. Dual antennas. CB radio. Fender skirts. Pointed rubber bumper " tits" on the front bumper. The continental rear bumper kit with hidden spare tire under the matching tire cover. Fly windows that let in real flies. Custom AM radio WITH a rear deck speaker and volume control. Starter on the floor or pushbutton on the dash. Three on the tree. Flathead V8's. Blue flame 6 inline with selectable overdrive. Tri power. Oil filled screen air cleaners. Leaky crankcase vent covers in chrome. Points and capacitor. Trunks that could fit a VW. Two headed drivers ( a young couple on a bench front seated close together). And an enormous back seat where most of the generation X were conceived. Windshield washer in a bag with a hand pump on the dash. Vacuum operated windshield washers ( just dandy when passing someone fast in the pouring rain ). Single driver side only side view mirrors. Electric folding antennas. Chrome half eye covers on the headlamps. "I like Ike" bumper stickers. Beatnicks. Hippies were only babies then. Bullet lights tail lights. In NY we got new license plates every year- black on orange then orange on black year by year. ( NY prisoners were kept very busy back then making the next years plates ). Necking with your girl on the bench seat. Blue smoke coming out the exhaust from the manually operated choke and often after. Choking behind auto exhaust when you walked between idiling cars.
    Oh those were the days.
