I say complain the shit out of "shaken by collision trauma" and all kinds of neck or back injuries sustained and collect as much from insurance as you can...make insurance work for the premiums they get paid.

That sucks. Sorry to see that happen on a 2020. Glad you are ok. I had some idiot run a stop sign and then flee the scene. Damage was limited to the front:

Hope your joking. Sounds like your suggesting insurance fraud. That is of course the OP was not hurt. No wonder insurance is high for some.

OP. I would say your truck is totaled. Hopefully the Truck Company and your insurance do you justice.

Neck and back pain from an accident like that can show up some hours after the collision. It's not uncommon for people to be okay, but wake up the next morning with some amount of pain. Yes, some people fake it, but think about the morning after a vigorous work out. Or the morning after doing yard work all day. I levered a big rock out of the ground this afternoon and I'm pretty sure that my back is going to feel it tomorrow morning.

I agree that if the OP was hurt then the insurance should pay medical and pain and suffering.. I also agree that neck/back pain can show up a few days after the accident.
My objection is to suggest someone fake it just to up what the insurance pays out.

Always take the ambulance ride to the hospital after someone hits you. Than it's legit.

Yes, you can get in serious trouble faking injuries. The insurance companies will sometimes hire private detectives to follow "injured" people around to see if they are faking injuries.

    Glad you are ok.

Be sure to let us know what the adjuster says.

I suspect the 'big deal' will be if their is frame damage beyond the rear bolt on structure, or if the bed bolts just ripped loose.

If the basic frame is solid, springs and diff all intact, I vote it will be fixed. And regardless of what others claim, done right, it would be a no one would ever know deal.

Keep in mind you would also seek compensation for depreciated resale value, since IF it is fixed it will definately be shown on CarFax and other reports, creating a lower value.

That buckle on the rear of the cab could be a PITA to fix. Also, if the A pillars or cowl are bent, it's likely to be totaled. It will depend on what the appraiser finds when he does the inspection.

I am by no means condoning fraudulent injury insurance claims. I merely suggest going the distance to complain of any injuries sustained. I've been in one collision which spun the car and and abruptly stopped upon hitting an underpass side wall. At the moment when paramedics showed up I had only explained "slight whiplash and left shoulder bruising" and only got compensated by the insurance for short-term injury treatment; I was trying to tough out the pain and "be cool" about it...then not too long after PT my neck and left shoulder never felt the same and would--frequent enough for concern--be in pain for a day or three...

That sucks, headlights survive? I’ll take them  Glad you are ok. I thought from the trail and error name you did this OffRoad, and I couldn’t figure out how. But yikes, semi in the rear, not fun

I try my best not to be in front of any semi.

There have been so many accidents by those cowboys lately, that lawyers are now advertising on TV for truck accident representation.

How? By saying I'm in pain after I was just smashed in the rear by a full size truck? Not Fraud

    Edit
OP get rid of the truck. More than likely total loss. Hope you are OK.
