    I should have done this when someone backed into my 2019 (and took off. I wasn’t present) and messed up my tailgate. Paid the deductible. Total was like 2700.

    $500 deductible your rates go up and then switch insurance in 6 months don’t ask how I know of course if it happened now I’d pop the dent out and leave it;)

    The cheapest option is have a dent remover tech pop it out. Leave it as is . If you try to pull out the dent , you'll make more creases. Most are mobile. He may or may not be able to take out the dent at the crease. Paint scratches can be filled in with touchup, buffed and polished. Or, depending the depth of the scratches, you may get lucky with a mild coumpound.
    You can buy a fender flare and call it done.

    My OCD will drive me nuts so I'll get it repaired but that's me.
