First off: I love my 2018 TRD OR SB 4x4 !!! This is my first Toyota in 40 years of owning over 50 vehicles.

I do wonder however if anyone else with a 3G Tacoma has done the following:

    1. Accidentally initiated 4H while thinking you were cranking up the Heat/AC blower? (I did this today on dry pavement)
    2. Accidentally changed the radio station while using the steering wheel controls because you thought the top and bottom buttons controlled the volume, but they don't? ( I do this multiple times a day)
    3. Tried adjusting the volume on the radio using the radio knobs but bumped the touch screen and changed something that takes a minute to figure out what you even did? (did this many times until I bought new larger radio knobs from a TW member)
    4. Opened the rear power sliding window and then had to pause and rethink how to close it because you just can't remember that need to pull the same button that you pushed to open it?
    5. Held the cruise control lever down for xxx seconds because that's how all non-Toyota's work but then realized that you lowered the setting by like 20MPH and the truck slows very rapidly while you panic and move the lever and speed up with rapid movements?
    Maybe it's just all me?

1- nope, haven’t done that... I leave the environmentals on 72 auto, never need to touch again, ever

2- yep, done that a few times

3- yes, done that once or twice

4- too cold to open rear window... just checked once to make sure it worked before purchase

5- now I’ve never done that... I do fine having to push a button first to activate Cruise Control is BS compared to my other cars (Mercedes is just moving the stalk up or down)

#2... but that’s a nonissue. It’s like lowering the back window instead of yours. Takes less then a second and you simply fix it.

#1?! Maybe you’re just a bad driver or need to put the cell phone down?

Call my dad all the time when I adjust the radio volume. My home screen is set 3 panel with the phone favorites on the bottom left side and his number nearest the volume knob.

My father now answers the phone asking what I’m listening to since I do it so often.

Pushing the 4WD to start and opening the rear driver's-side window are my two personal 'Arrgghhh" moments (which occur frequently.

    Still stock completely capable!
Also accidentally hit the 4 ways all the time when pressing for the heated mirrors lol. Hit the button to call my GF constantly when changing volume. My biggest rear window problem is not the trucks but constantly open it and forget it’s open. Luckily I don’t open it in rain or cold so more of a summer thing. Volume on the steering wheel is good because someone said it matches the volume bar( horizontal) on the screen so helps remember. Never done the 4x4 YET thankfully hahaha!

    I did it this AM.

Last night it was 75 degrees, this am 25 degrees. Went to turn the blower down, had turned 4wd. Caught it right away, but have to admit I did it.

So yes, I push the 4wd to start a lot also....nothing happens!

Also but unrelated.... I just have to wonder why the auto dimming headlights switch to low beams when you go less than 20 mph....so I try to quickly hit the switch to disable the auto-dim and miss it because I cannot see it.
