accidentally plastidipped my truck...

its dip on dip, my base color is red so i will tape off and use gray/black as my other colors

 

its 4 gallons... its not thin.

 

and the tape wont peel off the derp whilst derping over it?

Painting tape? the shit barely sticks.

 

you have to peel the tape while its still wet or you will get choppy lines

im in it for about $300 right now and thats with shipping, probably another 15 bucks ill be done.

 

I've used derp but never thought about tapping ontop of it.... I thought the tape would tear it off when you try to remove the tape

I only wish I knew where to find his cool tape/plastic combo. I've seen each sold separately with a special tool, but none that you could just peel off like that.

 

Cool idea. I would recommend the camo hood and tail gate like the F-250 rather than black, but as others have said, it's your truck so do what you like best. Have fun with it.
