Any chance you'll ship to Canada? I see it's not an option on eBay.

No worries if not. I can ship to North Dakota and pick up in a month or so. Shipping may be too much to Canada

Had a message today asking for help since their disk seemed to be stuck in shipping.

I have tracked every order and on average it looks to be taking about 5 days, that said there are a few that are taking much longer.

No surprise but it looks that USPS is fairly inconsistent. If your disk is going through Pittsburg or Des Moines they look to be the holdup on the 5 disks that have had excessive shipping time.

Lets give it a bit more time but I'm keeping an eye on it.

So i understand what the accumulator does and the benefits of deleting it. What i dont understand is how it works, and specifically how this disk disables the accumulator from... accumulating. I'll probably be buying one soon but would appreciate some help here first haha. Thanks.

    Good question.

Originally it was thought that the original "disk" was some sort of spring in the system. That said, after taking it apart the metal used is far too stiff to be a spring.

There is some theories that when you release the clutch the fluid flowing back through the center port pulls the disk closer to that center port, restricting flow. Venturi effect pulls on the disk and the thick rubber gasket compresses allowing the disk to get closer to the port.

My personal opinion is that the space between the center port and the disk is just the right distance to create a flow restriction. Ever been taking a drink through a straw and all of a sudden the straw gets pulled to the bottom of the cup? Similar, the space between the straw opening and the bottom of the cup, combined with the viscosity of the fluid, was JUST perfect to create a flow restriction.

That said, regardless of HOW the accumulator does its work the disk I made defeats that.
-If it is a "spring" then my ADD (disk) sitting directly against the bracket (no spacer) won't flex.
-The ADD has a small ridge around the very outside edge, this bottoms out in the housing preventing the disk from getting pulled towards the port.
-The ADD is machined out to increase the space between the port and the disk. This changes the distance relationship between the port and disk preventing that "suction" or restriction from happening.

It's not for a tacoma, but he shows you how to bleed a clutch by yourself. If you've ever bled your brakes its the same concept.
