Sorry my friend but the giveaway is long done.

There are a couple lost in the land of USPS that may get paid forward but don't hold your breath there.

I do have them for sale though!

Awesome, I'm still tinkering with the idea of just routing a hard line around it. but the chance at A free item caused me to consider this route (because im a cheap ass )

No doubt! Haha. Well sorry to disappoint then but good luck.

See the adm b.s. thread for a good hard line solution. Or, for free a hack (literally) to the original accumulator. This is for those that want an invisible mode that is risk free and reversible.

    Pre-Christmas bump.

You may be beyond getting it from Santa on Christmas night but it's still a great gift

Anyone else install this and not notice a difference?

    Is it just me?

I know we have chatted on the ADM B.S. thread but for others there have been some good discussions on cold weather causing an affect on the performance of the ADD. This is in the page 165ish range.

From that discussion I am recommending anyone who runs my ADD in cold weather (say sub 30f) use a low viscosity (LV) brake fluid when you refill the system. Look for something with ISO 4925 Class 6 to be sure, I recommend Pentosin Dot-4 LV. There is not much difference in these fluids when warm but they thicken significantly less was the temperature goes down. They are fully comparable with the truck.

If there's not much difference when warm, does that mean you won't need to swap back and forth every 6 months? Or would you still want to swap and run OEM spec in the warmer months? Or does that remain undetermined?

The spec for Dot-3 and Dot-4+ is the same at 100c (>1.5cst) but at -40C the spec is <1500cst for Dot-3 and <700 for Dot-4+.

In short, Dot-4+ (LV fluid) should be REALLY REALLY similar in viscosity to a Dot-3/Dot-4 at "normal" temps. It is hard to find published viscosity (at same temps) but the Pestolin LV fluid had a viscosity of 12.5 at 20C, meanwhile Castrol Dot-4 was 16, that is really close.

I see zero reason one would need to change the fluid per season. In warm weather it is maybe ever so slightly thinner, but in cold it is quite a bit thinner (but still MUCH thicker than when warm).

    New shipping packages!

Navy blue now instead of teal! LOL

Plenty of ADDs for folks who are still interested. 8' of brass bar made sure of that!

Just wanted to add that I installed one of these disks and now my truck shifts like it should.

    Huge improvement, thanks!
