    Questions:

When I take the accumulator out and put the new disk in, I do not need to put the metal spacer ring back in - just the black, large, O/ring - correct?

Also I saw the note about putting a clamp on the line from the reservoir - but it does not seem like I can clamp mine; when I tried to squeeze it, it was firm/eg non/compressible - I would prefer to not get brake fluid everywhere -

Gonna finally knock this out on Sunday, trying to make sure I have everything I need.

    You have it correct.

My OR had a soft(ish) hose but I know different trims have different brake setups. The first time I did mine I did not clamp it and it's not like it went everywhere. Just a bit more maybe and I might have let enough run out to get air in the master. Not big issues, just took a bit longer on the back end

The warmer weather is feeling nice. I'm planning to do mine in about a month or so when I do my 30k diffs and trans fluid changes. At ~29,400 currently.
Hopefully my disc hasn't wandered off over the winter.

Yes, sorry, my stock dropped to zero so ebay closes the listing. I will be in the garage this weekend making more so Sunday or Monday they should be available again.

I will report on results after I finish replacing the belt, and the lugnuts, the originals were starting to swell under the chrome caps.
Also new advics brakes, labeled the same as the OE advics that I removed. The shims from toyota are stainless and the advics ultra premium were carbon steel so I washed and reused the stainless o.e.

The disc makes a vague clutch engagement area, into one that engages in the same area of travel every time, improves clutch feel.

My truck has had a driveline shock feeling in 4,5,6, when shifting in since I got it. Now able to shift with out it.

Nicely made, well packaged, easy install.

    Very happy with it.

    Good job OP!

eBay listing fixed. Not sure what happened there.

On other notes, managed to crash my lathe doing a batch of disks. Have not done that in a while!

What do you mean crash your lathe?
I have a wood lathe and turn, but never metal. I just want to understand.

The cutting tool jammed into the workpiece and completely stopped the rotation. Wedged the cutting bit right into the metal and wrenched the workpiece in the chuck.

    It's my own fault.
I chop off a 5" chunk of brass and then turn down a whole bunch of disks from that one chunk. The chuck has to hold the work so if I cut off metal for each disk I would have a TON of cuts and would throw away about 4x more metal than the disk is itself.

The downside to this is I am "parting" off a disk about 4.5" from the chuck, on a 1.75" stock. That is a long way from the chuck to be parting, and I do so without any cutting oil.

Well I was distracted and wasn't listening to how the cutter was performing (you can hear good vs bad cuts) and was being too aggressive for such a cut. I likely needed to sharpen the cutter too. So, about halfway into a part BAM, everything stops!

Got it. We call that a catch in wood. Usually the workpiece explodes into splinters and chunks.

I make pens, tops, ice cream scoops, and bowls. I have broken all of them. Lol
