A few weeks back I was looking into this mod and found this thread and subsequently his eBay listing. That's when I noticed the counterfeits and sent him a PM about it. After that we talked about lathes for a bit since I have a very similar lathe to him just an earlier model. He offered to send me a drop of material that he would have otherwise never used, and he even covered the shipping! What a stand up guy!

I managed to make 2 of these discs out of the drop piece he sent me, installed one in my truck just yesterday and am very happy with the results. Since I was able to make 2 of them I updated @Firn in our PM thread of what I managed to make out of what he sent me and stated that i wanted to pay his kindness forward to someone else. So since you only need one per truck, I'll never use the second one I made. Whoever wants/needs it just hit me up in a PM and it's yours, no charge to you. The ones I made are no where near as flawless looking as what @Firn made, so it's a good thing it's inside a component to never be seen again. Although, I did sand the ones I made up to 2k grit, just because. Lol
