Accutire Tire Gauge

I saw this gadget in a friends vehicle yesterday. At first it reminded me of those things doctors stick in your ear, but when she told me what it is, I decided to compare it to a new tire gauge I bought a couple of months ago. They either agreed with each other or disagreed by ½ pound. What kind of experience do the forum members have with these tire gauges and how long have you been using them?

 

Bought one a few years ago - worked fine, was within 1 psi with my standard spring gauge. Batteries died after a year, never changed them. Rubber grip will start to turn sticky and tacky after sitting in the car after a year.

 

I got 1 works fine.
