    Hey guys,

Looking to blow my tax return on my 2010's suspension.

I can either get the Fox kit from Accutune, though would end up with Icon AAls instead of deaver leaf packs in the back. I've heard nothing but good things about Accutune's tunings. I just don't know how much it adds to the value of the shocks.

Or I can do the Kings from DownSouth Motorsports, they allegedly rebuild in house as well but I'm not sure to what specs. I'd end up getting Dakar's in the back with their mid-travel setup.

Is accutune's tuning worth it to make Fox's the better option of Kings? I'm going midtravel either way.

    Thanks!

I'll be the first to chime in. I have Accutune and have been more than happy. Ryan? (I think its Ryan) is fantastic to deal with. I had a wonderful experience with them and the ride is fantastic. I have the Dakars out back. If I were you I'd get the shocks from them. Also, if you have to compromise on the springs in order to do shocks, I'd wait a few months and get what you really want. The shocks are well worth it.

Thanks for the positive feedback @JJ04TACO

@climberslacker we have had a lot of great feedback from our tuned shocks. It really does make a difference having your shocks tuned for your specific needs vs over the shelf tuned shocks. Thats what we specialize in. If you were to have shocks tuned later on, you could be spending quite a bit of money. This is a service we provide free to our customers. Have it done right from the beginning vs tuning it later on. If you would like some honest feedback btw those two kits, please give our sales team a call. We are happy to explain the benefits btw the two and get you pointed in the right direction. (424) 377-0808

No problem guys. Aaaand there’s all that that I didn’t mention as well.

Pull the trigger here man. I’ve had a friend do test and tune day at KOH for his Yukon with a King setup. While his was a very specific setup it was expensive. This is a great way to split the difference and you will not regret.

X2 on Accutune. They're a great company to work with. Ive barely broken in my Fox 2.5 DSC setup and love it already. No experience with Kings or DownSouth but given how things worked out with Accutune I don't have any reason to go elsewhere.

If you haven’t decided already. I can’t comment about down south motorsports as i didn’t deal with them. But accutune has been great to deal with. Ryan, Mike and Andrew have all answered numerous phone calls from me and really took their time to explain to me (a layman) what would best suit my needs. They carry and tune both King and Fox. Install is scheduled for Thursday so i can’t comment on how it rides.. I’d definitely use them again

+1 for @AccuTune Offroad went in the other day and got to talk to Ryan about what I was wanting out of my truck and he had a ton of information. They will be doing Fox 2.5's on my truck in a few weeks, it is nice knowing that everything is tuned for what I need right out of the box. I am a big fan of Fox on my mountain bike, looking forward to seeing them on the truck.

One thing to note, if you find a kit that has everything you want in it but say you wanted to switch the springs out, I am 99% they can make that happen. I was looking at getting a kit with J66 Deavers as opposed to the Icon RXT's
