I bought the ACDelco greasable ball joints and right away took the truck to a nightmare rock trail. The ball joints feel solid, but they leaked grease all over. The dust boots moved and it also leaked in the zerk fittings. Is this something normal in that kind of ball joints ?

If they were packed super full of grease then they'll leak like that, at least that's the case with the Light Racing ball joints.

We didnt apply any grease, they came prefilled. Is it usual for the boot to move? I tried to put it back in place but I coudnt do it.

Oh, I didn't see that the boot was still out of place. Maybe someone else can chime in about that...

Is the collar bent in the first picture? It sure looks like it’s curved, was it like that to begin with or did you hit something with it?

The collar is not bent or broken, is just out of its place. Didn hit anything, both left and right side are the same (Boot out of place). When it was installed they were perfectly fine, and the shop didnt applied any grease (I asked them, but they told me that they already had). This was after just one day of a hard trail with lots of rocks.

BTW, the ball joints feel solid, I just dont know what to do with the boot, I think I will have to take it again to the shop so they can put the boot back with a socket.
