Acorn Damage

I have oak trees on the side of my driveway and the acorns are putting dents in my taco, esp the hood. I put a car cover made of something called Evolution on as soon as I pull in driveway but the acorns hit so hard it still dents. Today I put card board on the hood then covered it. Wondering if anyone has a better idea ? 2nd question, would that dry ice dent fix work on the dents ? How exactly do you do it ? Any links ? Any one have experience doing this ? Lots of questions huh ? Curious George

 

i would try to find some kind of soft foam in sheets. card board will scratch the paint something awful. good luck

Edit: or you could just cut the tree down

 

a blanket would do the trick pretty well but ur still talking about minor scratches unless ur truck is completly clean of all contaminents

I know right? What the hell kind of boulder acorns are you parking under?

 

Recently my mom has been in the hospital due to a serious illness and the parking for the hospital is always full. So I tend to park under some trees that produce some kind of nut. Well I swear that the squirrels that live there toss nuts at my truck! Ive found several in places where they wouldnt normally fall. Ive seen the way they stare at my truck. Curse them squirrels!

So I am borrowing some of those ideas!

 

you can find some pretty thick foam at craft store dirt cheap... it should be in the section for making pillows/blankets...

Good for the acorns and squirrels. Sorry I feel like an asshat but I couldn't help but bust up laughing when I read the thread title. It's just so... I dunno. I'd be pissed from the damage but... kinda what you get for parking under the tree.
