Actively shopping in a seller's market, would love input.

How long does it take for the paint to lose its luster? I imagine this truck will outlast the paint. If I spend $26k I'd like it to look nice for at least another 10 years.

For 26k in 2020 I'd say walk.
For 26k going into 2022 that's a steal

 

Here is a 2013 that you may be interested in if you don't mind a rebuilt title. I know the fellow that has it. He has a body shop and he bought it wrecked and rebuilt it. He has been driving it for awhile, it's a nice truck!

Well y'all. I passed on both the initial trucks but kept the search going.

Today we got our first TRUCK.

2010 ACLB Timber Mica SR5 V6 4x4.
Traded in by original owner (a United States Marine) at 205k.
All maintenance done according to schedule, all OEM parts, all stock except for the running boards.
Brought it to my mechanic to look over, under, on a lift, all fluids checked, plugs, brakes, everything was inspected.
I was really anxious about the high mileage but he assured me it's been taken care of.
Paint is great, all front facing surfaces have the plastic protection, even inside the for handles.
Interior is clean, tidy, seats in great shape.
