They don’t handle as well as the wildpeak at’s I took off and they’re quite a bit louder. But they do a solid job on the dirt and rocks

285/70r17’s (32.8”) BFG KO2 E-rated with 2.5” lift, full set of aluminum skids, and steel sliders on a TRD OR DC. I get about 16 city and 15-19 highway depending if I’m driving into or with the wind.

I came from a Jeep that was a little worse, so I can’t complain too much. Was hoping for better, but oh well - it’s still great to drive it!

If your so concerned about gas mileage don't lift and stay with the stock size tire.

Tire inflation, driving style, ambient air temperature, ambient air quality, vehicle maintenance, fuel quality, barometric pressure, weight of differential oils, probably some others but that should inspire some thought.

potentially adding one of those roof diffuser things off a rally car MIGHT help with the added drag of being so high up? aluminum skid plates might increase aerodynamics enough to offset their weight, but won't give that much protection and are $$$$. Steel is no shot definitely weighs too much.

Most people don't actually calculate MPG correctly to begin with, much less alter the formula to compensate for speedo/odo error induced from tire diameter changes, so reported massive changes are often inaccurate.

But yea, odds are high it will be worse than whatever you get now.

This Summer has been great for gas mileage, getting 23.8 @68mph and 26.6 @ 50 mph, TRD-OR-AC no wind.

not really, aside from a convex face ours dont really share any visual similarities. His are essentially a forged steelie (in design).

Yeah d shaped cutouts really make a wheel stand out. Side note... http://www.urotuning.com/Rotiform-Cast-LAS-R-Wheel-p/rotiform-lasr-r143-18.htm thats what rotiform Las-r wheels actually look like in case you were wondering.
Note the covered lug nuts, and different shape of spokes.

@ChadsPride is a good dude and didn't mean anything by what he said.

I actually know what the LAS-R looks like, considering I work at Rotiform. Theres more differences to them aside from window shapes. The additional webbing, the fact that these are essentially a evolution of the DTM touring car style wheel with a suppoort bridge rather than a dogbowl with holes.

Where did I say or do anything that insinuated otherwise. He said something, i replied without being hostile or aggressive.
