    I'd go 3in. Anything over needs a drop bracket lift which decreases ground clearance

    This is what I’ve been wondering. The circumference of a 33” tire is 8% larger than the stock 30.6” tires. So a calculated mpg of 15 is really 16.2.

    Why don’t cars with built in gps have auto-calibrating speedometers/odometers?

    GPS doesn't always work in poor weather, tunnels and in mountainous areas.

    I have a 6" BDS kit on a 2nd Gen with 33" tires, stock gears and I get around 18-18.5 MPG all highway and around 17MPG with a mix of city and highway. 12-15 seems super low
