    In @jberry813 's case, like myself, it was probably a net gain of slightly more than 3 lbs to the tailgate.

    The Relentless Aluminum tailgate skin is 10.34 pounds, at least the one I received was. And the factory plastic take off skin was 7.18 pounds.

    I was surprised when I weighed it, because Relentless's site says it weighs 13 lbs. My scale could be wrong... but I doubt it. Would be neat if someone else verified.

    I weigh my truck on the scale on the side of the highway. Not too far from me, and when the scale is "closed" it is still operational just not manned. Free, but no fancy print out :(
