so...heroic stupidity it is :) That truck has bad drive shaft mojo...orrrr drivers that seriously under estimate obstacles :boink: Aaron bought my OE shaft for a spare a couple years ago when I got my one piece and he had to use it immediately on his first trip to Moab

Nope. Tahoe is kinda like Germany. If you die on the roadway, it's your own fucking fault.

I am aware. We discussed it at length.

Stoptech big brake kit installed and pads all bedded in. Also installed the MBRP cat back. Happy fucking camper right now.

Looks awesome. And answers my question as to the Stop Tech kit working with LT.

The quality of your truck and the parts you are installing are very impressive! Even if it was partially built when you started you are doing a great job of continuing the progress!

Where do you source the brake lines for the Stop Tech set up?

They came with the kit. 6 piston calipers, 338mm rotors, lines, and caliper adapters.

I can see that with all of your builds! I wish people built rigs like yours in this part of the country but shit rusts to fast to put that type of coin into a vehicle here.
How does the s/c'd 4.0 perform in comparison to the 3.4?

Ah. Was not sure the regular length lines supplied with the kit would be long enough with the LT set up.

It holds it own. The 3.4 was tuned with a smaller pulley and a 7th injector. This one is just the S/C right now. Smaller pulley and bigger fuel pump in the future, but when it comes to power mods I like to do them in stages so I can appreciate them. I will say that @sytfu510 and I with the penguin lined up together and pulled up a hill balls out. And neither of us pulled on each other. It was dead nuts equal. So I'm probably dead nuts even with the old rig power to weight wise. The new one is over 1200 pounds heavier than the penguin.

Depends on the kit. The supplied lines were long enough for my +2 kit and long enough for @SCSPerformance's +3.5 kit. But @sytfu510 needed an extension for his Dirt Designs kit.

I am too lazy to look. Will they work with 16"wheels or do you have to go 17"?

    17" or larger. Won't fit with 16's

If you knew how well those brakes work, you would buy new tires and wheels.
