Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
Now that the front is all taken care of, I can't wait to see what happens to the rear suspension :sawzall:

Looking forward to a review on these brakes. If your truck is a pig, mine is a whale. Moar stop is needed.

My girl is quite a heifer. Full armor, bed rack, 250# worth of sliders, and these brakes stop her on a dime. Hated my brakes since I bought the truck. Now I am happy.

I still need to do it out of curiosity. But I know she is heavy. The 700# springs on my Kings are hurtin'

So you think that rear tire gate will hold up to the way you drive your trucks? Looks way better with the rack on btw. Before it was just kinda hanging out there.

I have dual rate 10"COs. The top spring is 600 and the bottom is 700. Basically the top spring is completely compressed from the weight.

Now I'm tempted to weigh it

It will do for now. If I were to build it it would have been double sheared at the spindle. But when it's closed, the clamp adds another point for force distribution.
This isn't a retard build like the last one. Not gonna be doing 70 mph whoop runs.

Tender springs on a 10" are so small. Every truck I see has them basically blocked at ride height. Someone needs to make a progressive coil. But what you have is as good as it can get.

Not even the same ballpark. The penguin would run circles on this one in the go fast stuff.

A small handful of select mods.
I have Stop Tech slotted rotors and pads now. I know they work great. Upgrading to the big brake kit would be a tad better but not in the budget right now.

J, I'm about to pull the trigger on some stuff and wanted your opinion :

    1. I'm picking up the big brake kit too and contemplating his rear disc conversion kit as well. Our T4R with those rear discs brakes incredibly better than my over weight expo pig. Did you research the rear conversion ? Do you think proportioning valving is needed with it ? I feel like the ABS system will keep it from working any better than the drums ?

    2. Did you put the new Nitto Ridge's on your T4R ? If so how do you like them. The trail graps have been o.k but have zero sipes so I want to step down into more an an AT that won't make my ass pucker on snow or wet for winter trips.

    1) From what I have read, if you have the electric booster like the 4Runner, than the general consensus is it works well. If you have the manual vacuum booster, not so much. But purely hearsay. A lot of people justify shitty purchases because they spend money on it, even tho the reality is it doesn't. Nobody actually did any before/after stopping tests.

    2) No. Duratracs on the T4R
