You running the 2" or 3.5" kit? Also see my above addition to my post regarding a good alignment shop

LOL. I had one done there as well, I think it was $240. Almost shit my pants. Was in a hurry right before Moab last year installing the LT a couple days before leaving. And go figure, a week later and it was knocked out, they didnt torque the bolts down enough for the LT. And they wouldnt re-do it for me when I got back :bananadead:

But Ayres stands behind their work too, out of the 5 alignments we've had them do they messed up 1 but it was a novice tech since the regular guy wasnt in that day but they re-did it at no cost the following day perfectly to spec

Thoughts on negative camber? I ended up at -.5 to -.75, caster 3. This is a DK mid travel set up, but adding the negative camber made me much, much happier with the ride, and doesn't seem to have a huge effect on tire ware.

All in my head, or reality?

Totally late to my own party.

2 3/8" on the money like @relentless said.

I wish I knew that 3 days ago. Appreciate it either way!

Reality for sure. Just means you drive like an asshole. I have to have some negative camber or I wear the outsides of the tires and it rolls in the corners.

Nah you're right. I chew some tires up if my camber is zero or positive, love to rail the turns and it eats the outside like no other. With the negative camber it wears much more even for me and tracks better/pulls in the road grooves less.

Just pulled the Tierod end and extension... Unfortunately not going to be able to just cut the extension down like I had hoped because the threads don't go all the way through.... You guys happen to know of any shops around here that would have the right equipment to tap these threads deeper? Or better yet anywhere that would carry some tie rod extensions?

Back from a week of hell in NJ. Did some truck stuff today.

Pressed in 4 brand new uniballs all the way around. Uppers had very minimal play but the lowers were spent. At least 2 mil of movement in them. Pulled the old rack and prepped the new one. New outer TRE's as well. Upper and lower oil pans removed and everything prepped. Removed the MTRs and mounted 4 new Cooper STT Pros on the beadlocks. Front diff is ready to go again with new mounts (thanks again for the rear mount @glorifiedwelder)!!! Might have a mixture of metric and SAE bolts now on the driver side arm, but those fuckers are not coming loose again. Also got a gently used factory CV from @Overlanerd with an absolutely prestine inner. Haven't done the work yet, but it looks like it will be all I need to rebuild the CV I popped. All in all a good days work and glad to be home.

How were the coopers to mount to the beadlock wheels? Frick I would love a set of beadlocks. Great thread btw, lots of useful info!

They weren't bad at all. There's one part I needed my wife's help with, and that's getting the back bead over the beadlock. I don't weight enough to do it by myself. :anonymous:
Other than that it's just being meticulous with the torquing pattern.

And in other news...was flipping through Total Chaos catalog. I kinda miss my first gen
