Deductive reasoning = tied to management or work with Toyota somehow since this type of information is not for the general public. Makes sense now to hard line defend Toyota's decisions with still using old technology rear brakes on an advanced truck. I get it and anyone in that position would not bite the hand that feeds them - I'd be doing the same thing.

Maybe I'm just good friends with the salesman. As for the rear drum brakes my position on that topic has nothing to do with a perceived relationship you may think I have with Toyota.

Could be worse, the 2018 4runner still doesn't have 1 touch lane change blinker that everyone else has too.

Who needs factory leather when you can have some Clazzios for less! Just sayin'.

Seriously though, unless you are sold on factory leather and find it that option much better, Clazzio lets you customize. And for seat covers (which they technically are) they look awesome. This was after putting them on, they look even better now after several months. They feel better than my wife's Highlander OEM leather seats.

I asked in the other 2018 thread, but I guess I'll ask again here - So can the TRD's actually get leather or not?

Only the trim levels of Limited and TRD-PRO get leather by what I read.

Old technology... Bro they were both invented in 1902. Both. Disc and drum are the same age. So my question is, what makes drum brakes older tech than disc? I gotta know this because this is almost the most repeatable phrase on TW.

Unbelievable that a vehicle that is very close to the 40K price point doesn't have power seats. So many advanced safety features for 2018, but yet it still has no power seats. Also a little shock that the Limited hasn't included leather seats these past years; it is supposedly their "luxury" truck.

After experiencing CarPlay in a rental last year. I'm not sure I can purchase a vehicle that doesn't have Android Auto or Carplay in it. Most brands are supporting the two, which is good. Toyota will likely be the lone manufacturer that doesn't have this support.

What is confusing regarding the 4 cylinder with the 6 speed manual is this:
    upload_2017-10-30_16-15-56.jpg
Are they considering Georgia overdrive a 6th gear?

What’s also confusing, is they state that on page 12, the tow package is included with v6 models but then they show on page 13 that it is optional. Really bad proofing before this was released. I am going with standard feature on this one.
