So why did you get rid of your over head console? Good looking truck so far!

So I added some @Pelfreybilt skids. Mid and ifs, in aluminum. Primed, coated with bedliner and top coated with satin black. Side note, they shipped fast, like Amazon fast, and great to deal with.
    image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

I had about a foot long strip of LEDs that I mounted as hood lights. The other night after a recovery and I was trying to air up, I realized it was kinda difficult to see the battery and other engine bay areas without holding a flashlight. So I fixed that, used a hood switch. I might add more. image.jpg

Aftermath pics from said recovery...image.jpgimage.jpg image.jpg

I decided to make some accessories for my hi lift jack. An off road base and a slider adapter. image.jpg image.jpg

And a couple weeks ago at the brute force fab meet & greet bought some winch mount reinforcment plates.

So, I want to add a lot more to this thread but tend to forget, so while I have it on my mind, I recently added dual odyssey batteries and the kit from OGE. I did that because we're headed to Montana in the summer, and we'll be hauling a indel fridge. So some pics...

    The dual batteries installed...
    image.jpg

And my fuse block that I got from my SS @Sje1124 only took me 6 months to mount it lol
    image.jpg

The mounting holes for my indel fridge slide mount, just drilled holes into the bed and installed rivnuts, with some epoxy to help secure them into the fiberglass bed.
    image.jpg
    Holes in the bed mat...
    image.jpg
    And slide mounted...
    image.jpg
And I added a 12v socket in the bed for the fridge, but realized I should of used some sort of connector. From using it for a few days, I think it will work for the road trip. Maybe later down the road I'll make a more secure type of connection.
    image.jpg

That's all for now, just need to snap more pics of other things I've done.

Added a 700 watt inverter in the center console with rear facing outlets, for the kids gadgets while we're on the road...
    image.jpg image.jpg

The inverter is old, I've had it for quite a few years, hence the dust.

So picking up where I left off a while back... I got a Bruteforce Fab rear bumper, had it for a month and I got rear ended:mad:
    IMG_0628.jpg IMG_0629.jpg IMG_0632.jpg IMG_0634.jpg IMG_0636.jpg
The bumper held up unimaginably well! One of the swingout arms was bent a little, the jerry can holder was deformed, cans dented, scratches powder coat and slightly tilted forward. Other than that, nothing major needed repairing on the bumper or truck! The truck suffered a cracked taillight and dented tailgate, checked the frame and all was well! Dealt with the responsible parties insurance and everything went surprisingly smooth.

So after being ecstatic that my truck wasn't gonna need any major repairs, I continued with my original plan to purchase a front bumper. So ordered that and splurged on some new wheels to eliminate the spidertrax spacers.
    IMG_0715.jpg IMG_0938.jpg IMG_0940.jpg IMG_0974.jpg

While I had the winch out I decided to take a peak into the solenoid box, since it wouldn't fit with the new front bumper. My fear came true, severe corrosion and water still inside, from our river exploration trips. So figured might as well clean it up and relocate it, found a spot next to the power steering reservoir.
    IMG_0946.jpg IMG_0961.jpg

Oh and after the accident decided to change my jerry cans up to the scepter milspec water and fuel cans. Added the spigot to the water can.
    IMG_0773.jpg

Got a snorkel from the group buy, yeah the cluster one, install was a pain in the ass! Installed before the accident, sorry my timeline is terrible.
