I am routing 10 gauge wire to my truck bed via the starter battery and will be connecting directly to blue sea outlet. It will be used to run my bed led lights (via cigarette plug) and occasionally charge my small power station. As I’m likely to forget to switch the blue sea outlet off, is there a way I can set this up to cut power automatically if my starter battery reaches a certain capacity? I want the 12v to be always on so that I can use my led lights when engine is off bit not if the battery won’t start my truck.

If nothing is plugged in you won’t drain the battery. Note your battery is a 12v but if you check the output voltage it’s a bit higher. Battery output is rated in amp hours (starting power) if your concerned about battery life get a tandem battery and mount it in the engine compartment. Drain from there and recharge it automatically when the engine is running.

I think you'd want an isolated DCDC inverter like the Orion from Victron. It has low voltage cutoff, a voltage detection to sense when the truck is running, variable output so you don't overheat your alternator. Can run your dc loads and charge the power station when the engine is on, then you can run the loads from the power station when the engine is off. This would also let you tie in a victron mppt to the system to use solar if you choose.

The current limitations on the cigarette plugs is a ceiling to consider. 15a max safely. Different connectors will let you pull more amps safely (if fused properly).

I just realized you said power station not auxiliary battery so you may not need an solar charge controller if it's built into the power station.

For the blue sea LVD, yes.
