ToyTec worked well on mine and supports the added weight of my topper nicely. Does not ride harsh either.

I personally think add a leaf is only good if you are just wanting to lift, but since you are adding weight I would go with a Dakar leaf pack

Would it make my ride stiffer?

I put an add a leaf kit on mine , the Icon AAL and Timbren bump stops with U bolt flip kit made a lot of difference and drives better when loaded.
The leafs are the same on all models nothing different with the PRO. I would have replaced the whole leaf pack but since it was new the add a leaf was a more affordable and appropriate option.

Mine is a TRD Sport so I cannot speak for the Pro but I like the ride I got better with the add a leaf than without. It stiffened the ride but in a good way. Not like a horse and buggy lol.

It is only 200# he added. Not like he is carrying a slip tank around.

If you just want to keep the rear from sagging when loaded without changing the feel of your suspension....air bags.

I have the exact same truck with the exact same problem. I purchased a set of add a leafs from wheelers off road- they specifically state 1.5” of lift
I have not had a chance to install them yet - will update this post as soon as I get them in

I've read that the add a leaf flattens after a while, if you have weight in the rear. (Please don't quote me, that's just what I've heard).
