ADD actuator issues

My “failure to change from 2wd-4wd” light came on in my tacoma . 2019 sr5 4x4 tacoma. I self diagnosed and then had a dealership diagnose, both came to the conclusion of a faulty ADD actuator. Got one online , i replaced it myself. When i got done replacing it, turned my vehicle on, it through abs lights , traction control lights, pre collision light was flashing, with no way of clearing them. I changed it back to the old actuator, all went away besides my failure to change light. Figured it was a faulty actuator, went and got another one, same thing. Any ideas or opinions
I’m leaning towards a bad ECM but i don’t want to get ahead of myself and the toyota place in my area is subpar , i honestly don’t want to take it back.

 

Are you sure the transfer case is making its shift from 2WD to 4H successfully? It does that first before it does anything with the ADD.
