That looks great! @solscooter found some plugs that fit perfect in the center of the light to cover the exposed screw Heads and give it a good seal.

I just had to fork out $315 to get my 3rd brake light replaced, again do to my carelessness with a canoe. Anyhoo, the dealer had to do the entire unit and to do so had to pull some of the headliner.

 

I was too impatient to order black stainless hardware from McMaster. Was going to look for rubber plugs, thanks for the heads up

I did use rubber washers as well, but still needs to be all black.

Well I went through a nasty Hail storm 2 nights ago and my 18' DCSB Pro is mangled. I have $0 deductible on on hail damage so hopefully they do a good jobs on the dents. While I was checking out the damage on the truck I remembered reading about all the people who have had problems with the 3rd brake light leaking. I hopped in the back of the truck and sure enough it had been hit. The hail did not crack the housing just the lens. It had rained for the last 2 days and I have not found any water coming in the truck. In the back of my head though the whole time looking at it was this would be a perfect time to get a @mesojdm Ultimate 3rd Brake Light. So if there are any ready for sale take my money please...

 

another leaking taco.....broken stud on passenger side.......waiting on kc version release for now no light, just gorilla tape.

Do the 2018-19 Sr models come with the new 3rd brake light style? My 17 Sr has the 2nd gen light. No leaks for me.
