I've added an Undercover bed topper, vent shades, Nerf bars and stainless steel chromed fender well strips to my 08 DC LB. Looks pretty sharp to me.

Looks good. That's the first I've seen of the fenderwell chrome strips.

Janster, the shop where I bought the Undercover and Nerf bars had a display of them on the office wall. The shop is Rhino Linings of Winchester, Va. their # is 540-678-5585. If you call tell Annette you're a friend of Big Mike.

I also had a Python alarm and remote start installed.

I'm working on putting in a CB and amplifier. I've been doing CB and HAM installs since 1973, did it professionally for about 5 years as a side job. I still do big rigs occasionally, my next door neighbor is a trucker. I did his trucks a couple 3 times and now he talks me into doing his buddies. He gets the good neighbor discount, beer and burgers afterwards. All else pay cash. :)

Blue is my favorite color and this shade is really close to my all time favorite shade of blue. But...it was almost too much of a good thing. So to offset it I went with chrome. I wasn't sure about the wheel well chrome but once they went on I really like it. I don't remember seeing another Tacoma here with them.

This is going to be a freeway queen, not some rugged trail rig. I'll take it off road to fish and shoot but sure won't be doing any rock crawling or heavy mudding.

I know a lot of people feel that way, but I love chrome:) It looks great on your truck. I found a chrome hood guard, and now I'm trying to find the chrome grille inserts like MissleMan's...

Thanks! I'm not paticularly interested in them myself... It's different.
Sometimes - ya gotta look at different catalogs & Accessory places to find those little things that nobody else has to make your truck stand out.
I like looking at little doo-dads and seeing if there's anything I'd consider...

Janster, I've followed your posts and vehicle mods for years now on TTORA so I'm glad you like my freeway queen.

Well I thought I had seen it all, that is until Thursday 06-19-08 when I personally viewed in the Lowes parking lot a Tacoma Double Cab with either 22's or 24's, chrome and stainless of all kinds, in all kind of places; flat, curved, compound curved, etc, AND with a Mack bulldog, and Buick portholes in combination. I am not 100% sure I have seen it all, but I don't want to see no more. (metro Atlanta area)
