I'm running 285 MTRs with no cab mount chop or rubbing. Castor is around 4.8 degrees. I love the way it drives.

Subd for this answer lol. I'm in the same position. Running a 3inch OME lift and about to order tires. Lol. Would love some 34-35 lol. I know there's slot of trimming involved.

yep, once you get it started be careful it cuts like butter. See how i followed the bend down towards the bottom on the fender and then started cutting in towards the CMC and my sliders? you will want to follow a similar line

295/70/17 are technically a 33.5, to run 34's or 35's a lot more trimming of the fenders ALL THE WAY around is needed, along with the CMC and probably the pinch weld as well. plenty of 35 threads to research to know what your getting into

Show your work. I have rubbing in the same place on the plastic and the end of the fender. I was waiting to cut that piece of fended off until my touch up paint arrived. So show some pics OP

you asking me @Buddha717 ? no problems its just the plastic, won't expose the pinch weld, no RTV silicone needed to re seal up the cab, its water tight, and i stuff the crap out of my 33.5's no prob

here is a straight on image of my cut job, its tough to see because you really are only taking the bottom inward so it almost looks like the stock fender lines

    straight on from the side

looking in to the fender liner, CMC is just visible behind tire on the left

close up of the fender plastic trim, CMC isn't visible as its behind the tire

blue is what the original shape kinda looked like, it comes forward towards the tire quite a bit, i was rubbing in the same spot as the OP, not anymore since cutting the red line

I'm moving to 295 also. What wheel backspace combo are you running? Just a dremel to notch out the back fender? Looks super clean.

With the new UCA are you able to run chains up front?

@PS78 nevermind on the back spacing saw your build page... I'm assuming I'll be good with 17x8.5 4.75bs and zero offset...

Any secret to how you got that much caster?

When I just had TC UCAs, most I got was 3.2° then I added the TC LCAs and was able to get over 4° of caster.

I think it boils down to a good alignment shop getting it dialed in just right. I also have TC UCA's, with stock lowers though, and I got 4.0° and 3.2° caster

I did the TC UCAs last weekend and got the alignment this morning.

When I first lifted and had it aligned I asked for increased caster to avoid cab mount rubbing. Ended up rubbing in the front, mostly on the driver side, when backing up and turning onto a street from a driveway. Usually rubbed at mid way between straight an full crank.

Imediately after installing the ucas I noticed an improvement. Lots more room up front. As for the back I already did the CMC, pinch weld and trimming. So I think I’m good to go now.

Alignment shop said today that the only thing out of spec, besides previous caster adjustment, was the toe.

I’m pretty illiterate when it comes to alignment #s so I’d appreciate any weigh in on the final numbers. Is it normal for there to be variances between the driver and passenger wheels?
