So first "visual" mod was to get rid of the braces on the front end. Contacted BAMF and got a "damaged" recessed grill shipped out asap. Install was simple and grill only had one small blemish. No big deal to me.

 

Secondly had to put the "raptor" style grill to use and install some LED lights. Used some black bolt style LEDs from oznium turned out pretty sweet and clean in my opinion.
Measuerd and drilled 3 holes in the brand new BAMF grill..remember measuer twice and drill once

Before installings the lights into the rill i pre wired them to extend their harness and use a bigger 18 gauge wire.


Used heat shrink on all connectors to insure resistance to corrosion. Ran wires for all three lights in concealed plastic tubing and connected them behind the head light into two single leads. ( one power , one ground )


Ran the ground to a ground screw close to the battery once again heatshrink and tubing was used


Ran power into a "add a fuse" in the fuse box to a location where power is applied when truck is running.

More plastic tubing was added after this shot.

Ditch lights are in gotta wait to get over this sickness before install...

Made a switch plate out of aluminum to fit the useless cubbyhole

 

Valentines day beach trip was a success. Stock tires managed the soft sand pretty well.

 

Softtopper should be here Wednesday wheels should also be here this week. All pro pack rack over the top is also on order. Orderd hondo better radio knobs and the vent mount today. Need to decide on some suspension so i can get the wheels mounted on some 285s when they get here. Truck is slowly coming together

 

Suspension orderd went with OME for now would rather spend the money saved from
Not going coil overs on a rtt. And wheelers was out of the b110s anyhow and shipping was around $200. So i cancelled my order and went with the ome kit with dakar leaf pack through headstrong

 

Extended brake lines also orderd. Softtopper should be in tomorrow.

Came home these evning to my soft topper laying on the porch. Decided to install anyways even though it was pouring rain and dark

 

Unholy dash vent mount from hondo garage installed paired with a round magnet ram mount and a little something extra

 

Extended brakes lines made it thanks @OCTaco Got them a little long so i dont have to change them for future plans

 

Stuck hondo knobs on this morning

 

Dakar leaf packs made it just waiting on the rest of it

 

Tire appointment for saturday morning. Rest of ome lift should be here tomorrow black Lugs should be here friday. And 285/75/16 cooper sts and sr8s going on saturday. Its going to be a long productive week.

 

Managed to get ome lift installed tonight solo....im tired much needed sleep. Rides 10x better then stock though.
