Adding a brow to my windshield

Vertical. They did not remove the rear view mirror cover, just trimmed around it, basically left and right pieces of tint

 

I plan on doing this soon and bringing it down to the bottom of the rear view mirror cover.

 

Have you ever added one before? I added one to a Honda Fit awhile back and then pulled it off a week later because it made the windshield “feel” smaller.

Potentially unpopular idea: don’t tint beyond the legal limits for the states that you wish to drive in. It’s already too easy to hit cyclists and pedestrians, and you don’t live that close to New LA anymore.

Just tint the whole thing, it will look 100% better than doing a strip at the top.
