Exactly the wiring is honestly the least of the issues that part is simple enough its the matter of finding a seat that will work for what you need, and if you want your heated seats it would definitely be easier to find a power seat thats also already set up for heated otherwise youll complicate it more or sacrifice your heated seats

I love how you talk a big game behind a keyboard. Go ahead sheplock.. switch out the seats and then tell us how cheap and easy it was.

Seat jackers are relatively cheap and simple and work for many 3rd gen owners that've complained about ergos.

EDIT: that came across a bit harsh and matching others trollishness which is obviously unnecessary. Mainly I don't understand why this individual is so bent out of shape by my comment that switching in a power seats sound expense and effort. Did I say wiring was difficult? NO i did not. $700 and a few hours sounds like a PITA to me and not worth it.. but you have at it dude and be sure to share your experience on how simple switching out the seat covers are too.

by that thinking all of the SR's would have fog light wiring but they dont. There are differences in the harnesses i dont have the ability to add an alarm system to my Truck because i dont have the jumper at the hood latch.

That sounds like a pain, thats my exact point about the vehicles being different depending on country and stuff, cause those things are standard equipment in all the models where i am

I realize this is an older post, but what do you mean by "removed the lumbar wires"?
I have been trying to find a way to sit farther back in my seat, I already removed the totoure device that hooks into the headrest. I've been getting quotes from upholstery shops that seem very high to reshape my seat. But if I can just get in there and remove some lumbar wires all my leg pain may just get relieved. Thanks for any help in advance!

I know this post is old, but according to a few other member posts, you can use the seats from a camry. At this point, I would think ebay is your friend, and just buy a complete seat and install it. My 2022 trd offroad came with power driver seat. It has cloth interior, not leather, and as of right now, I don't have heated seats, although I will be adding them soon. I'll be changing my seat skins to the leather ones.
