I've searched but get confused, I'm trying to find a single switch for some driving lights to fit this space on my 2016 Tacoma 3rd gen TRD sport.

to fit this single space blank:

Mictuning makes switches those size too. Both companies sell on Amazon if you want to browse selection.

I actually just barely got done installing my CH4x4 switch. Wired it so it's lit up while the ignition is on then gets brighter when you turn it on.

Just found some one yesterday that's working on a new insert for that area with room for more switches.

Why did you wire it as a semi constant on instead of grabbing a switched input from the switch next to it so it would only come on when your parking lights or headlights are on?

Yea you have to only run a few inches of wire. If you are not done in like 2 hours I’ll pull mine apart and let you know what color wire to splice into because I honestly can’t remember. I just stabbed stuff with a multimeter until I found a switched wire and spliced into it.

On my dad's tundra, I pulled the illumination and 12v power both to a add a fuse on the taillight fuse, this way I didn't have to tap into any other factory switches, and it illuminates when lights are on and light bar will only come on if at least the parking lights are on. I wired mine in my truck wrong, still haven't fixed it but it will turn on any time.

Yeah, I'm just a using an add a fuse as well. Tapped the "Panel" lights so it comes on with the dash lights.

Yea I didn't want to figure out which wire was which and my multimeter died so I just tied into tail add a fuse fore same effect only lights with dash lights, same idea just different way to accomplish it.

Btw if you feel the switch is too bright, I did, so I pulled mine apart, just pops apart with a screwdriver and colored the front(towards switch) parts of the leds with a black sharpie and it knocked down the brightness alot, mine is white light not blue but if I had a slight blue tint to it it would match rest of dash lights, but does match in intensity now.

Thanks I might have to give that a try. Sometimes it looks on when it's off.

Yea I had blue one before but swapped because I had both small and large blanks, and my dad's tundra had only small, when I swapped the white(thought I ordered blue) was blinding, so pulled it out and was like now what, after getting it apart i still had no plan, but the sharpie was laying there i figured what the hell, can always wipe it off with alcohol, and it worked fine, still want to figure out how to give it an ice blue tint like factory switches.

I have the switch holder for the cubby so I'll relocate that one there and take mine apart to see what it looks like. Wonder if it's an actual colored LED or the switch itself is blue.

I think it's a colored led, would be more cost effective(in my opinion) to just put different leds on the switch than have different colored buttons, I also tested mine with a 9v battery to get idea of if it worked before I put it back in truck
