    Hi there!

I am just about to upgrade my stereo system to a new double din apple car play compatible touchscreen with rear USB and AUX ports. My 2011 Taco doesn't have a USB in port under the factory radio, but it does have a AUX in. What I would like to do is:

    1) Add a USB port to one of the empty slots
    2) Wire both that and and Aux into the new head unit

Has anyone done this? Any advice would be appreciated. I am looking at purchasing something like this but have no idea if it will work.

Here's what I did . I hot wired it so it's always has power . Charges whatever you have hooked up when the truck is off . IMG_20180802_122555425.jpg
