Has anyone done this? Hoping there is an untapped connector somewhere making this a plug n play mod. The bins themselves are readily available. I did a search and did not find a thread on this.

Dont even bother. I have used the factory 120v bed socket exactly 1 time in the almost 6 years of ownership and it wasnt even for me.

If you really want a better setup. Run a constant 12v fused hot directly from the battery to a 12v socket in one of the bed cubbies. Then buy a standard 12v inverter that you can plug into that if you want 120v AC... but ill bet you find yourself using the 12v socket WAY more than the inverter.

Check out the link below in my sig about the Bed lights and 12v socket. Seriously, that mod of the lights n socket are hands down the BEST thing i have EVER done to the truck. I use the bed lights SO often and ALWAYS get compliments on them and the 12v socket has proven to be so useful for TONS of situations.
